SEYBOLD EXPO, Booth #444, San Francisco, CA -- September 2, 1999 -- To follow up on our August 31 announcement of the PowerForce G4, PowerLogix announced the unveiling of the first G4 processor upgrade at the Seybold Expo in San Francisco. "We're excited to be the first upgrade manufacturer to demonstrate the capabilities of G4 right alongside Apple's new G4 machines," said Robert Jagitsch, President of PowerLogix. "For many users, a processor upgrade, whether it be G3 or G4, is the best, most economical choice. This is especially true for users that require six PCI slots." The PowerForce G4 brings the power of Motorola's AltiVec Technology (called "Velocity Engine" by Apple) to earlier PowerMacs and clones. Pricing and availability will be announced at a later date, with shipments expected to start in 4th quarter 1999. About
