PowerLogix Teams With Small Dog Electronics to Ease Past Dealer Inventory Woes

AUSTIN, Texas, --05/22/01—PowerLogix, today, announced a product distribution agreement that allows customers to shop virtually anywhere – from online to their local Mac product dealer, and receive product as soon as the next business day. This new arrangement will allow many dealers to offer PowerLogix product without an inventory investment.

Local dealers and other resellers may now purchase PowerLogix product from Small Dog Electronics of Waitsfield, Vermont. Small Dog will drop-ship product directly to the customer. Acting like a virtual warehouse, Small Dog offers credit card purchases without surcharge and the same PowerLogix dealer pricing. Many smaller Mac dealers have had difficulty stocking enough product and this new arrangement should help to alleviate this problem. The main benefit to consumers is that they can shop at the dealer of their preference and still get overnight service. PowerLogix customers receive:
Overnight service;
Normal pricing;
Higher in-stock inventory levels than many local dealers offer;
Ability to shop where they prefer.
