POWERLOGIX ANNOUNCES PRICE REDUCTIONS UP TO $150 ON POWERFORCE G4

Austin, Texas, USA –August 30th, 2002 -- PowerLogix today announced new lower pricing and increased L3 cache on the PowerForce G4 Series 100 processors upgrade cards for PowerMac G4s.

New pricing is as follows:

PowerForce G4 Series 100 @ 700MHz $369 (previous price $449)

PowerForce G4 Series 100 @ 800MHz $449 (previous price $599)

PowerForce G4 Series 100 @ 1000MHz $699 (previous price $799)

800MHz and 1000MHz models now include 2MB of L3 cache for maximum performance.

"Adding a PowerForce G4 card is a very economical way to get additional speed, especially with new software such as OS X Jaguar. The previous generation PowerMac machines are great performers when upgraded with a PowerForce card," said Robert Jagitsch, President.

The PowerForce G4 Series 100 upgrade cards are compatible with the following PowerMac G4s running at 100 MHz bus:
